If we can’t get the replacement part right away, we provide you with electric heaters until we can get the part and repair your furnace. During extreme cold weather, heating failures can quickly become urgent, so we prioritize no-heat calls to restore comfort and safety as quickly as possible.

Electric furnaces are vastly inferior to natural gas and propane furnaces. Oshawa’s extreme cold snaps put a lot of stress on electric furnaces, which produce the least amount of heat in proportion to energy usage, compared to natural gas or propane. Natural gas furnaces are cheaper to operate and provide reliable heating year-round. We strongly discourage anyone considering installing an electric furnace from doing so.
